Mr. ZHANG, cheng, a senior intellectual property consultant, is the head of the Taiwan Business Department of Intelight IP Law Firm, providing legal services for enterprises and individuals in both China mainland and Taiwain in the field of prosecution and enforcement of intellectual property.

Before joining Intelight, Mr. Zhang had been working in the patent industry for 20 years. He previously served as the patent department director at Taiwan Shengdao International Patent and Trademark Office and then Yangxi Intellectual Property Consulting Co., Ltd. He also served as a patent consultant for several companies, including Rongyi Technology Co., Ltd., Chengyi Technology Co., Ltd., GIXIA Group Co., Ltd., Chroma ATE Inc., Jinyu Industrial Co., Ltd., and Cleo Electronics Co., Ltd.

Mr. Zhang has provided services for many well-known domestic and foreign enterprises, assisting clients in applying for over 3,000 patents in China, the United States, Japan, South Korea, Germany, the United Kingdom, Thailand, Vietnam, India and other countries. He has rich experience in patent applications, reexaminations, patent invalidations, and patent infringements in both China mainland and Taiwan.
